The island of Cebu can also be accessed by sea from various points in the Philippines. In Manila, ferries bound for Cebu depart at Pier 15 South Harbor and arrive in Mactan after about 20 hours. If you’re coming from Boracay or Buscalan pier, it will take about eight hours.
